Barnett’s Memorial Service -
Next Saturday, May 10th at 11:00 a.m, there will be a
Memorial Service followed by a reception in the Parish Hall. All are
welcome.
Pentecost - Pentecost is next Sunday, May 11th, and in celebration of the Birthday of the Church and guidance of the Holy Spirit, we suggest that everyone wear Red! Let’s celebrate the spirit and Mother’s Day.
St. Mary’s Singers - Today, there will be practice after the 10:00 a.m. service to sing on May 11th at the 10:00 a.m. service.
Parish Directory - Our first photography date is Wednesday, May 21, 2008 from 3 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall. All parish members will be contacted to reserve a time. A second date will be chosen later which we hope will help us include some of the folks who are with us only on weekends or for the summer. There will be opportunities to include pictures of parish groups and activities, as well as the Staff. With the advent of digital photography, the production of a Directory is now much easier and quicker than it used to be and we look forward to a great publication. Please help us and be sure to be included in the Directory by signing up on the bulletin board in the Parish Hall.
A Listening Event - In preparation for the Search for a new Bishop, a Listening Event will be held in the Parish Hall following the 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 1st. Every member of the parish is invited to come and have their voice heard as we discover the strengths of our Diocese and the qualities we look for in a new leader.
